During our tour, we will visit the surroundings of the village.

The village of Dois Rios has a rich historical past that dates back to colonial times with the large plantations of sugar cane and coffee, headquarters of a maximum security prison and today there is a development and research center at UERJ (university of RJ) and opened its doors to tourism.
It is possible to visit the ruins of the old prison, inside are the Ecomuseum and the Museum of Prison, both with curiosities about the island and its history.

Here we set up our camp and we will also enjoy, that simple but delicious camp meal.
