Here in Abraão Cove lives a friendly village, Vila do Abraão which is the largest of the communities on the whole of Ilha Grande and the main gateway to tourism, taking on the role of the “economic capital” of Ilha Grande. The cove has its surroundings very trimmed, being constituted of 14 beaches and 5 islets. The relief of the mountains is the striking point, presenting peaks of great slope and altitude with beautiful forms, being the Peak of the Parrot the most curious. It has several water courses descending from the mountains and flowing on the beaches.
The largest beach is Abraham’s, at the bottom of the cove, where there is the Village Village, shopping center, embarkation and disembarkation points, with intense movement of boats that take walks and the connection with the continent. The village has several restaurants, nightlife, bars, being therefore very frequented by young people.
