Itinerary
Can you imagine starting your day with a stunning view of Campeche Island and its infinite blue sea? Feel the energy of the sunrise and be enchanted by the beauties of the south of the island! : D
– We will walk during the night to climb the hill (only 180m high) and catch the first rays of the morning sun. We will use flashlights to facilitate the walk;
– We will start the walk from Pousada Pau de Canela, in the Campeche neighborhood;
– We will go towards the little sand street that gives access to Morro do Lampião;
– We will take around 20 ~ 35min to go up the hill through a wide street with loose stones. We will use flashlights for our safety;
– We will arrive even before the sky clears up … then we will be able to observe the night view of much of the southern part of the island;
– From the top I will tell stories about Floripa, the origin of the name of this hill and the reason it was so important for aviation;
– The day dawns and we will have cups ready to enjoy a coffee energized with the rays of the sun in the best view of the south of the island! : D
