The Devil’s Throat Circuit is closed on the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls until further notice for repair and maintenance of the infrastructure affected by an extraordinary flood.
In October 2023, the Iguazú Falls were flooded by 15x and the Devil’s Throat circuit was partially destroyed, currently the National Park staff is repairing it, according to the offical announcemnt: 60% is already completed as of April 2024, the circuit is closed for maintenance and will not be open for the next 4 months, Updated on mid April 2024, circuits open for visitors: Upper Trail, Lower Trail, Eco train and green trail and also the optional tour: Safari 4×4 & Boat ride to the falls.
Devil’s Throat is still visible from the Brazilian side and also from the Argentinean side at the Lower Circuit area by “Bela Vista” viewpoint.
