We will begin our tour of the Selarón Staircase, where there are two hundred and fifteen steps measuring 125 meters in length, which are covered by over two thousand tiles collected from over sixty countries around the world.

The Parque das Ruinas Cultural Center was home to the Belena Époque carioca’s great patron, Laurinda Santos Lobo. Known as the “marshall of elegance”, Laurinda brought together intellectuals and artists in the magnificent grounds of the palace, which today is one of the most beautiful award-winning projects by architect Ernani Freire and home of experimental fine art work. Unmissable!
