Porto Alegre Trip Overview
We will meet at the DMAE gardens and will take a tour of the city, taking the best routes in all of Porto Alegre. I will present specific points, unique stories of the places and about the city as a whole. We’ll visit places on foot to explore some interesting and most beautiful spots due to their history, not just the architecture and their colors. During the tour, there will be a tasting of chimarrão, a traditional drink from Rio Grande do Sul, and we will explain the entire history of mate and the beginning of the tradition around it. We will take photos throughout the tour, to remember this special day. We’ll walk along the Guaíba shore and watch the sunset and tell you the best places to get to know the Gaucho traditionalist culture and the best typical restaurants in our city! At the end, from Monday to Saturday, we will have a regional wine tasting at the Calçada da Fama in Porto Alegre. On Sundays the tasting does not take place.
