Stop At: Corcovado – Christ the Redeemer, Estrada Redentor – Alto da Boa Vista Parque Nacional da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro 22241-330 Brazil

Designed, especially for those with short time who have only a day available to visit Rio. This 8hs Full-day tour is essentially a combination of the City’s main tourist attractions, Christ the Redeemer & Sugarloaf. The first part of this tour takes you straight to the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Once at the summit, at an altitude of 710 meters(23.000ft), we meet the statue of Christ the Redeemer, indeed, the most-visited monument in Brazil.
The Statue of Christ the Redeemer is Clad with triangle pieces of soapstone mosaic and is one of Rio’s finest Art Deco monuments.
At night this shining landmark is visible from all over the city.

Furthermore, from the top, you will experience breathtaking views down to the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema … the Botanical Gardens, Jockey Club, and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Located around the base of Corcovado and with many springs and waterfalls, the dense Tijuca Forest has proclaimed a National Park in the early sixties.

In our city tour, we pass by and visit various places of interest in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The highlights are:
– The contemporary Metropolitan Cathedral, with its amazing stained-glass windows;
– Selaron steps
– Lapa
– Aterro do Flamengo, our “Central Park” with lawns and blossoming trees, and lovely views sites of Sugarloaf, the tour proceeds through the charming Urca neighborhood towards the main cable car station of Sugarloaf. You’ll take the first cable car for the exhilarating, steep, 215m climb up Morro da Urca. From this intermediate stage, another cable car soars high above the rugged, vegetated terrain to the 395-meter high summit, from where you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views over Rio.
