My cooking class is a unique experience that combines new perspective on a food you thought you knew, a lot of fun and delicious food – all in an incredible outdoor setting.

This class is not about chocolate. It’s about savoury cooking where we will use cacao as a spice in many different ways. Cacao is an incredibly healthy superfood that can do a lot for us and which is absolutely underestimated when it comes to savoury cooking. You don’t have to be a sweet tooth to enjoy this cooking class.

When we meet I receive you with a refreshing drink in my patio. We will have a short introduction and open the organic cacao bean taste the fresh, white flesh. Then we will mix ourselves a Caipirinha, put some Samba and start preparing the recipes. Once ready we will enjoy our meal on a big table with some friends that always gather for that occasion and a bottle (or two) of Brazilian red wine.

Sample Menu

• Grilled veggies on Picada Sauce – Picada is a kind of Portuguese pesto which we prepare with dark chocolate, hazelnuts and a lot of parsley. You’ll love it!
• Chili sin carne with chocolaty smoky sweet potato fries – This Chili is a plant-based version of the famous Mexican dish with a new, chocolaty twist.
• Mousse au chocolate – Based on a Brazilian dessert, crema de abacate, this plant-based version is a healthy and delicious finish to our meal.
