Our afternoon tour will start with a meeting at “Relogio da Carioca”, an antique iron tower clock, located right at the exit of the Carioca Subway station, more specifically in the Carioca Square, of the busiest areas of downtown Rio, with a Metro station and lots of shopping around

You will take the LRV (Light Rail Vehicle) and head to the Olympic Boulevard, where you will have a historical and cultural tour through the Sea Port Area.

Right after we will head to the Museum of Tomorrow, a science museum in the city, right across MAR. It was designed by Spanish neofuturistic architect Santiago Calatrava, and built next to the waterfront at Pier Maua. This intricate yet captivating museum mixes science with an innovative design to focus on sustainable cities and an ecological world.

Also you will have a chance to visit the MAR, the Rio Art Museum, installed at Praça Mauá, in two buildings with heterogeneous and interconnected profiles: The Dom João VI Mansion, listed and eclectic, and the neighboring building, which has a modernist style and was originally a bus terminal. You can get a nice view of the Museum of Tomorrow from MAR’s rooftop
