“Urca Bar” – Urca / Daily

A magical nineteenth century mansion known worldwide for its decoration with a wide collection of ancient furniture, objects, music and food. The samba school fantasies impress at the entrance. Banners and thematic paintings are part of the decoration of the 300 square meter bar.
The first hall receives popular samba shows from Tuesday to Saturday. On the other hand, the outdoor area is aimed at those who want to snack, drink and chat without disturbing or being disturbed. The draft beer and the beers go very well with the “tapioca dices” or “moqueca” snacks.

It is a place for those who love to dance, but there is also an airy balcony to relax a little. If you’re hungry, you can also stop by at the bar and pizza place on the first floor.

“Clube dos Democráticos” is a perfect home for those who love to dance close together and show their steps around the room. No matter how many times you go back there, it will look like it stopped in time. The immense dance hall makes the visitor to travel to the beginning of the 19th century. Some may even say that the place could be renovated, but many think that this is really its charm. For the less experienced, it is worth sitting and watching the most keen couples in the dance. But don’t be surprised if someone invites you to an improvised dance.
