Stop At: Cachoeira do Tabuleiro, Estrada Tabuleiro Parque Municipal Natural do Tabuleiro, Conceicao do Mato Dentro, State of Minas Gerais 35860-000 Brazil
The biggest waterfall in the state of Minas Gerais and third biggest of Brazil, Cachoeira do Tabuleiro is located on the city of Conceição do Mato Dentro, 185km distant from Belo Horizonte (capital) and 88km from Serra do Cipó. This heart shaped waterfall is 273m tall and it`s considered one of most beautiful spots in the region.
We leave Serra do Cipó and drive until the entrance of the park, taking a 2km trail until the fall. There we have time to swim, eat, take some photos and enjoy the view. On the way back we will stop at the Juquinha statue and a view point and finally return to Serra do Cipó.

Juquinha statue is a famous local atrraction. It`s a celebration of the life of a local wonderer that lived in Serra do Cipó around the 70`s. His is remembered because of how he cared for the nature and was always walking, collecting plants and offering them to tourists in exchange for something for himself. It`s also a beautiful landscape and great place to take some pictures.
